Basics:
==============================================================

• If you're in another clans/packs/herds territory, they have every right to attack you or force you to leave.
  
• Characters must sleep sometimes. No-one is awake 24/7.
  
• Characters must eat sometimes. An animal would starve to death in a matter of days if he never ate.
  
• Lions, Zebras, and African Wild Dogs are all social animals. Your character -may- be a loner if they are of these species for a time, but it is not recommended for extended periods of time.
  
• Only Loner Zebras may be hunted, killed and eaten by the predators of The Savannah.
  
• Loner African Wild Dogs and Lions may also be hunted and killed if your character(s) are starving. Most predators do not prefer to eat other predators, so characters should only be that hungry in the Dry Season.

Breeding/Mating:
==============================================================

• Different animals have different gestation periods after conception. Please make sure you are familiar with this time (it is stated in the list of playable species) so that you can RP with it accordingly.
  
• Same gender relationships are allowed.
  
• No cross-species mating. Sorry, but an African Wild Dog and a Cheetah would have the ugliest babies ever.
  
• Characters may not always become pregnant through a single breeding, but if characters continually breed they will become pregnant.
  
• Force-breeding is allowed, but the female can fight back and the fight can go either way.
  
• When the mother gives birth, a staff member will reply with the stats of the litter and individual offspring.
  
• Offspring may grow into original markings of the mothers choice as they get older, as long as they don't stray too far from the originally assigned staff-picked color. (i.e. "Emilio was black, but now has grown into being black with red flecks in his fur" is acceptable. "Emilio was black, but grew up to be a bright violet color with pink streaks" is not acceptable.)
  
• Offspring are playable on their mothers account until 1 real life month after birth. Then they must get their own accounts. At this time, you may find other people to RP your offspring and they will have their own individual personalities.

Fighting:

• Fighting can occur at any time/place.
  
• Fighting is turn-based, with 4 posts per combatant. (3 attacks, 1 dodge)
  
• You are the judges of your own battles, but remember that no-one is perfect and wins all of the time. If a battle cannot be settled by the people who did it, a staff member will step in and declare the winner.
  
• Remember to read the information on powers before you use them in combat against another player. The basic gist of the rule I'm referring to is that you can only use your powers ONCE per fight with another player.
  
• If you participate in a fight, win or lose, remember how exhausting it is and play it accordingly! Noone is Superman!
  
• If you get wounded in combat with another player or even on a hunt, you must RP it accordingly. If you're wounded for one post and the next post feeling much better and seem to have forgotten that huge gash in your side, you're not the type of RPer for this site.
